Care instructions
The furniture you have acquired at Must Société was manufactured by specialists, who exclusively use materials that meet high quality standards and offer both durability and comfort. This care guide has been written by our professionals, in order to help you keep your furniture in good condition.

Wood
Like all organic materials, wood is unique to to tree from which it is made, making it an interesting material to employ. Although our suppliers always try to integrate the different pieces that make up their furniture, it is nonetheless quite normal to see variations in colour or grain. These variations highlight the properties of the wood and are a testament to its authenticity.

Lacquer
Glossy lacquer is the result of a long finishing process, since it is applied in several very thin layers. A lacquered surface beautifully reflects the shapes, movement and light that surrounds it.

Acrylic/
Plexiglass
Transparent or opaque, acrylic and plexiglass are used to produce an array of decorative items. Moulded, acrylic and plexiglass are quite durable, despite their sensitivity to abrasive materials.

Basketry
Basket weaving is the art of braiding objects using twigs or dyed plant fibers such as wicker, rattan or cane. These objects include seats, backrests, baskets and even woven storage containers with lids.

Chrome
Chrome should remain glossy in order to look its best. This material has excellent resistance to corrosion and perfectly highlights decorative objects.

Copper/Brass
Decorative objects made from copper or brass add lightness and warmth to any decor. They twinkle in the light of day and dim under subdued light, giving the impression that the material is alive.

Fabric
Due to the wide variety of fibres and weavings, not all fabrics can be maintained in the same way. If you have any doubts regarding the best way to maintain or clean the fabric covering your furniture, do not hesitate to consult a specialist.

Leather
Distinctive and refined, leather features several singularities that speak to its authenticity. Pleats, wrinkles, marks — these unique details make it a special and standout material that only gets better with time.

Suede
Like all types of leather, suede is a noble material. Raw in appearance and often matte, it is offered in several shades and adds a touch of warmth to any decor. Its flexibility and soft texture make it a much sought-after interior design material, but be advised that it is more fragile than leather.

Nubuck
Supple and velvety, nubuck has the same qualities as leather. Softer to the touch, it is more fragile and must be carefully maintained.

Granite
Granite is a natural, granular and crystalline stone that is durable and highly resistant to fractures and scratches. As a porous material, granite requires protection from staining, discolouration and deterioration, and because of its porosity, it may react to dark liquids or cleaning products that contain bleach, so it is therefore advisable to take care of the surface and use a trivet or a coaster whenever possible.

Marble/Travertine
Marble and travertine relatively rare stones of great beauty. More porous than they appear, they require protection against stains, discolouration and deterioration. They are quite susceptible to staining liquids and household products that may discolour or damage their surface — especially if the stains are left on the surface for an extended period of time. The use of coasters is therefore recommended.

Concrete
Concrete is a material renowned for its strength and durability. Extremely easy to maintain, it requires following just a few steps to preserve its appearance and prolong its life.
